Lochead Sandford Recruitment’s client, a well- established busy, rapidly expanding Accountancy Firm based in Lanarkshire seeks to recruit an experienced Client Accountant to join their friendly, successful team.
This role will suit either someone qualified or qualified by experience with broad current or recent UK practice Firm background essential.
The main focus of the role will be taking responsibility for your own portfolio of clients from varying sectors, a few sole traders and partnerships but the vast majority being ltd companies of varying sizes, preparing year end accounts to final review stage.
You will also prepare some tax returns deal with ad hoc more complex bookkeeping, client queries and ad hoc basic client cloud training, business advisory work,
You will enjoy extensive client contact and daily use of various IT systems including several cloud packages such as Xero so use of Xero and/or cloud packages is strongly desirable.
This is a key role within the team reporting to Manager / Partner level and as such requires several years UK Accountancy Practice Firm background.
The successful individual will be able to demonstrate strong technical skills, good organisational and IT skills- ideally cloud package exposure and a desire to deal from start to finish with your own clients along with a sociable team environment to enjoy your working week.
Our client offers a most attractive salary package- dependent on experience, some flexible working, in a varied full time or possible 4 day role.
