Lochead Sandford Recruitment’s client, a highly regarded, city centre CA Firm seeks to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior currently studying ACCA finals or IDEALLY already newly/recently qualified, with several years accounts preparation experience gained from another UK Accountancy Practice and good exposure to reviewing work and supervising/coaching more junior team members.
Please note Current or recent UK Practice Firm experience is essential
Working in a progressive, team environment your role will involve:
• Accounts preparation and review for sole traders, partnerships & limited companies from varied client sectors
• Basic tax returns-corporate and personal
• Assisting clients with Sage queries/ad hoc training with onsite visits to clients
• Training and coaching more junior members
• Reviewing of accounts work
• Use of computerised accounts packages- Sage skills preferred
This is an excellent, varied role offering full ACCA study assistance to complete your qualification, if not already qualified and as such our client seeks someone with strong interpersonal skills, a commercial approach and a desire to further progress. You must be comfortable liaising with clients from varied sectors.
